Donations and Bequests

The Cape Town Heritage Foundation is a non-profit organisation and relies on income generated from outings, membership fees and donations from people who support our aims and activities.

This Foundation has been approved by SARS as a Public Benefit Organisation in terms of Sec 30 of the Income Tax Act. Donations are exempt from donations tax in terms of Sec 56(1)(h)of the Act.

Bequests from your estate are exempt from estate duty in terms of Sec 4(h) of the Estate Duty Act.

Donations and bequests would be appreciated and we will provide an acknowledgement of receipt and thanks.
